PA66 (Polyamide 66)

PA66 is an engineering plastic featuring outstanding comprehensive performance. It boasts high mechanical strength and rigidity, accompanied by excellent wear resistance and self‑lubricity with a low friction coefficient. It also has good heat resistance with a melting point above 250 °C, and shows good tolerance to oils and various chemicals. Its main disadvantage is relatively high water absorption, which tends to reduce the dimensional stability of finished products.

Main Applications

Automotive industry: by virtue of its heat‑resistance and oil‑resistance, widely used for engine radiator tanks, intake manifolds, door‑handle assemblies and other components.

Electrical & electronics: owing to good insulation and heat‑resistance, extensively applied in connectors, coil bobbins and circuit‑breaker housings.

Machinery & consumer goods: taking advantage of wear‑resistance and self‑lubricity for transmission parts such as gears and bearings; also used for sports‑equipment housings, disposable‑lighter casings and other daily‑use articles.
